A Prayer For Help When Believing Other People Make You
Feel The Way You Do
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God,
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Sometimes other people make me feel bad, fearful, anxious, downhearted, or
any of the other negative emotions.
When I experience these emotions, please show me how to be your mighty
warrior in the faith.
Please show me how your power shields me from what other people do and how
other people make me feel.
Empower me to step back and look at things from your position of power
within me.
Empower me so my weakness is abolished forever.
Show me how my response to people and what they do and say is much more
important than what they do and say to me.
Show me how I respond to others, not what others do or don't do with
respect to me, is in your will for my life.
Empower me so I will feel only what you want me to feel.
Give me an outward bound heart full of caring, compassion, and love.
Enable me to be concerned about others from a position of strength rather
than being concerned about what others are doing and saying about me.
Remind me every hour how you are the center of my life rather than what
others are saying and doing in regard to me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
Amen
