A Prayer About Helping Others Resolve Their Own Issues

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
According to your love and will, may I always have a heart full of kindness and understanding toward others and their troubles or issues.
According to your love and will, may I always be a person of strength so I can help others resolve their issues in strength.
When others call upon me for help, may I always help them help themselves out of their darkness rather than my dropping everything to help them.
When I sit with people, may I always encourage them to help themselves by giving them strength and hope.
Let me let others know I care about them by being a source of strength and encouragement to them.
Let me help others by helping them find their own way home through your love and grace.
Let me always be able to help shine your light into the hearts of others so they will in turn shine your light out to still others.
Let me always be able to help others be more than they ever thought they could ever be.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
Amen
