A Prayer For Honesty

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I believe in you.
I believe you live within me.
But right now, at this moment, I am so tired, beaten down, and besieged, I have no sense of your love.
I know you are here within me.
I can almost see you standing here next to me.
I can almost see you smiling as I speak these words.
But my suffering and trouble are really getting me down.
I hear you say you understand, but I am not in a patient mood at the moment.
How about a little healing touch upon me to make this pain go away?
How about a little piling on of the Holy Spirit to ease the muscle spasms and the all the other painful problems I have today?
How about a little piling on of the love of God to banish all the worries I carry?
I could be angry at you but I know you are leaving things as they are for your great victory in my life.
I know you are having me go through these dark moments so I can touch the hearts of others.
But it's not easy, Lord.
Yes, Lord, I see the great wave of good from what I do.
Thank you.
I love you, Lord. I am sorry I get upset with things being like they are.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely. Amen
