A Prayer About How We Are Not All The Same
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And
Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord
Jesus, I love you.
Help me understand and accept in love how all people are different.
Help me love others who are different from me.
Help me reach out to others who are not like me.
Help me more fully appreciate how different people can be from one
another.
Help me more fully appreciate how others are a blessing from you, even
when they are different from me.
Help me love others regardless of their race, their culture, their
language, their job or profession, their position in life, or their
country of origin.
As I reflect upon your love for every person, I give you praise for making
all of us different from each other.
In your love and grace, help me be an encouragement to every person I meet
no matter how different they are from me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
Amen.
