A Prayer To Keep Your Head When Evil Strikes

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Evil has dealt me a terrible blow.
What do I do?
What can I do?
Lord, I feel like I am going crazy.
I can't keep my thoughts straight.
I can't keep my mind in order.
In your power of love and grace, please heal, restore, renew, and revive the damage evil has done to me.
Please help me keep my power of reason in this terrible time.
When I start to lose my head, please touch me and give me ultimate self-control.
When I start to abandon all reason, please touch me and bring back my power of rational thought.
When I start to turn into a debased and unreasonable person, please touch my heart and stop the turmoil within me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely. Amen
