A Prayer To Let Others Learn To Fill Their Own Needs

Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
Put in me a spirit of empowerment.
Place within me the strength to help others by letting them find their own way to fill their needs.
Show me how helping others means helping others learn to help themselves.
Place within me the wisdom to know I must live only for you.
Place within me the drive to do only your will rather than being driven to do the will of others.
If I find another person's needs dominating my life, show me how to step back and give the other person the power to fill their own needs rather than my trying to fill their needs for them.
Show me how to strengthen others by giving them the freedom to find your power to fill their needs rather than leaning on me to fill their needs.
Show me how you do not fill my needs for me.
Show me how you have built a system where I must learn to fill my own needs instead of leaning on others.
