A Prayer To Live Out Love Precious
Lord Jesus, Wonderful Holy Spirit, Awesome God,
I love you, Lord Jesus.
Let my thoughts and actions toward others carry love and kindness.
Let my burdens, cares, worries, and woes be lifted up to you in love.
Let me know you love me.
Let me know you want to place your healing hands upon me.
Let me love others in spite of my burdens.
Let me truly love others as I seek to do your will.
Let me love others as I come to kneel at the foot of your Cross in
worship, adoration, and godly sorrow.
O Precious Lord God, I surrender all of my life up to you.
Let all the trivialities of my life be washed away in the cleansing tide
of your sacrifice.
May I live love by resting in your glory, grace, and selfless love for me.
Let no temptation ever turn me away from your love for me.
Let no distraction ever draw me away from loving others.
Let no distraction ever draw me away from loving you.
When I am weak and feeble in my body or spirit, let your love fall upon me
so I may love others more fully even in my infirmities.
When I am unable to find your love in the myriad of things life puts
before me, let me hold the tiny Christ child in my arms and feel the love
He brought to the world.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
