A Prayer About The Mighty Power Of God

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
There is no power in all of creation greater than your power.
There is no power of evil or darkness in the universe that can ever prevail against you.
The power of your love brings with it a reward beyond any human imagination or beyond any human words.
When trouble comes, your power brings your flock together for protection.
You are the great shepherd and your power gathers those of us in your flock together so you can hold us in your arms and carry us close to your heart.
For those of us who are not strong, you gently lead us in your ways.
No one can hold the waters of the oceans and seas in the hollow of ones handbut you.
No one can survey all the wonders of the universebut you.
No one can hold the dust of the earth in a basketbut you.
No one can weigh the mountains on a scale or the hills in a balancebut you.
Your power is mighty; so mighty, no one can give you wisdom.
Your power is mighty; so mighty, no one can give you knowledge.
Your power is mighty; so mighty, no one can give you understanding.
No power in the universe can compare to you.
No love in the universe is greater than your love.
With all this power, with all this might, you sit next to me each day and tell me I am your own.
How humbled am I?
How humbled must all of us be?
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
Amen
