A Prayer For About Not Wanting To Push Others

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
There are people in my life I want to push to get my way.
Too often I try to push them, pull them, cajole them, coerce them, and manipulate them.
I am truly sorry for being like this.
Precious Lord Jesus, please forgive me.
In your grace and in your love, help me not be so pushy with people.
In your grace and in your love, help me be loving, kind, caring, and encouraging with no selfish motivation on my part.
When I want to push others, help me love others so they will love you rather than love me.
When I want to push others, help me to be kind to others so they will be kind to still others rather than being kind back to me.
When I want to push others, help me be encouraging to others so they will see you as the Lord of their life.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely. Amen
