Prayer About Perfect Hope
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I have seen great disappointment in my life.
I have disappointed others and I have disappointed myself.
Others have disappointed me and given me great heartache.
I have disappointed you because I was selfish.
When disappointment rules over me, I lose hope.
However, in these times of disappointment, there is a place I know I can
go at any minute where only perfect hope reigns.
There is a perfect spiritual place in my soul where you and I can rest on
a bench next to your perfect lake, and in your perfect peace we can sit
and talk about the unlimited possibilities of my lifemy unlimited
possibilities and your unlimited possibilities that extend out into
eternity.
I affirm before you, this perfect spiritual place where we can sit and
talk of unlimited possibilities is not just a place of imagination but a
place of ultimate reality.
I affirm before you, Heaven is only a thought away in my mind.
I affirm before you, your heavenly and perfect kingdom is just a breath
away.
In your heavenly kingdom where only perfection lives, I shall find
unlimited, eternal, and perfect hope that drives out all my
disappointment.
In your perfect hope, my disappointment fades away as my spirit soars
upward forever.
In your perfect hope, I have a future full of perfect glory, perfect
power, and perfect love.
Grounded as I am upon this earth in this physical time and place, I know I
can imagine as much as I want about your perfect hope and I still cannot
imagine enough for there is so much more.
I know your perfect hope is not in some far away place.
I know your perfect hope is living and alive within me this minute.
In your love and grace, I can see your promise.
In your love and grace, I can see your hope.
In your love and grace, I can see you, my precious Lord Jesus.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
Amen
