A Prayer To Pick Up Your Cross

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
I love you Lord Jesus.
Thank you for the blessings you have poured out upon my life.
Keep me humble and give me your wisdom as I choose to carry your cross in my suffering.
Remind me of the days when I first decided to follow you.
Keep my mind fresh upon those decisive moments.
Keep the fire of your love in my heart so I may endure all hardship for you.
Let me somehow endure all my pain and all my afflictions for your glory.
Let my life, my work, and my sacrifice be a treasure to you.
I know in my heart you are with me.
I know in my heart you are beside me, you know my suffering, and you know my needs.
If I lose heart for carrying your cross, help me to be strong.
If I grow weak and weary from this burden I carry for you, under gird me and let the fire of your Spirit renew me.
May your blessings, power, and grace poured over me be a blessing to others.
Let no hardship come between us.
Let no trial separate us.
Let my life empower your kingdom on earth.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
