A Prayer About The Power Of Light And Life

Precious Lord Jesus, Wonderful Holy Spirit, Awesome God, I love you.
You are the light in my life.
In my times of being lost, I know you will come to give me your truth and show me your way.
I praise your holy name.
I praise your name for in darkness you come to me.
You give me your beaming light and love.
When my life spins out of control, your light, love, and truth, bring order.
As I walk your path each day, I know you will dispel every darkness.
When my life turns troublesome and terrible, it is your light and love smoothing things out me.
I want so much to follow you.
I want so much to do your will.
When your path for me grows lonely and weary, please let your light shine brighter in my heart.
When your path for me grows rocky and steep, please let your light shine within me and as I try to scale the steep cliffs.
When your path for me grows dim and my vision fades, please let your light illumine my soul so all things can be clearly seen.
In you, I find the power.
In you, I find the light.
In you, I find the life.
In you, I find redeeming love and hope lasting until the beginning of the new age about to dawn.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of the most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, the Mighty God, and the Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely. Amen
