A Prayer About The Power To Be Only Who God
Made You To Be
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And
Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I am a sinner.
I am a fallen creature.
Without any self-control, I would be bent upon my self-destruction.
I walk a path where I have many choices and decisions I can make every
minute.
I can choose to be a person who glorifies you, or be a person who
glorifies evil.
Remind me every hour, when I choose to not glorify you, when I choose to
just sit in my dark thoughts about myself�remind me in those selfish
moments you are not glorified in my selfishness.
Help me be the person you made me to be�a person you made to glorify you
in all I say, think, and do.
Let me find in you the power to be only who you made me to be.
Please help me bite the bullet and reject my sinfulness by turning away
from my sin and turning toward you.
Please help me not be proud and do egotistical things.
Instead, help me be humble.
Help me to expresses your love using the gifts you have given me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
