Most Precious Lord Jesus
Gentle And Wonderful God
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit
When I stagnated, you made me grow.
When I thought I was going to die, you made me immortally yours.
When I had no love, you gave me yourself.
When I failed, you gave me success.
When I was aimless, you gave me purpose.
When I had no direction, you gave me a goal.
When I was wrong, you set me aright.
When others slandered me, you gave me respect.
When others rejected me, you wrapped your arms around me and accepted me.
When I was in darkness, you gave me your light.
When I was in ignorance, you gave me your wisdom.
When I was in denial, you gave me your truth.
When I had no one to follow, you came as my shepherd.
When I needed someone to talk to, you came near me and listened to me.
When I was hurt, you came and bandaged my wounds.
When I was defeated, you showed me your victory.
When I was afraid, you gave me courage.
When I was filled with doubt, you gave me faith.
When I was on sinking sand, you gave me a firm foundation.
When I was in chaos, you gave me order.
When I was confused, you gave me logic.
When I was impoverished, you gave me the wealth of your blessings.
When I needed someone to show me confidence, you trusted me.
When I thought all things would pass away and nothing would remain, you gave me the permanence of your eternity.
When I saw my imperfections, you made me perfect in your eyes.
When I saw my sin, you made me clean.
When I was threatened, you made me safe.
When I was guilty, you came and made me innocent.
When I was convicted, you came and gave me a pardon.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
Amen
