A Prayer Of Praise For Hope And Vision

Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
Lord, when I think there is no way out, you come to me and show me you are The Door.
When I think all is lost, you come to me and show me everything can be brought under your control.
When I look around and see no earthly hope, you come and show me the beauty of heaven is in my future.
When I see no possibility of things changing or improving, suddenly the possible becomes probable and the probable happens because of you.
When I see a loved one who has taken their last breath, suddenly you remind me there is infinite life ready to be lived by this loved one.
When I look across the land and see so much sin, I think there is no way on earth repentance can come.
Suddenly, inexplicably, without human reason or understanding, a righteous remnant emerges from the darkness.
When the sand of the desert looks brown and barren, you send a little weed or a little flower to remind me you are still working.
When the prison bars clang shut, your love opens hearts.
When hope for life has been crushed, you come to revive hope and give new dreams.
When the sting of my heartache takes away my will to live, you come into my heart and give me your soothing and healing touch.
O Lord, how you do what you do I do not know or understand.
All I know is, even in the most desperate places, times, and circumstances, you bring peace, love, and joy.
Thank you, Lord.
Thank you millions of times over.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit who lives within me and touches me, Amen
