A Prayer About Pushing Against Sin Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome
And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
It seems my world is a cesspool of people pushing sin and sinful thoughts.
The sin merchants are everywhere and so are the sinners who gobble up what
the sin merchants sell.
The media is full of sinful ads, sinful programs, and sinful ideas.
Sometimes it seems the world has gone mad in its sinfulness.
In this darkness, I ask you to bring your Light.
In this darkness, I ask you to help me and help others bring your power of
love, caring, compassion, and righteousness.
Although I may be helpless to stop the whole world from turning away from
youwith your help, I know I can touch one life so one life will not be
swayed to live in sinful ways.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely. Amen |
