A Prayer To Receive Grace

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
I praise your holy name, O Lord.
You are above all reality.
You are above all human life.
You are above all of human imagination.
In your will, let me have a heart to be what you want me to be.
In your will, let me surrender up every thought I have to you.
In your will, let me surrender up to you every one of my ideas, my imaginings, my longings, and my desires.
In your will, let me empty out my life to you and in your will, let me receive your forgiveness and your love.
Help me to overcome my selfishness that keeps me from giving all I have to you.
Help me overcome my desires to be important in the world.
Help me overcome my desires to be recognized and appreciated by people.
In place of these selfish desires, put your forgiveness and your love according to your will for me.
When I make a decision, let me make that decision for you.
When I face a choice, always let me make a choice that shows your love and your forgiveness.
I am just a humble and simple person trying to get through each day.
I have little power and little hope.
However, in you I have a person who loves me, forgives me, and gives me hope everlasting.
Thank you Lord Jesus.

All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
