A Prayer About Receiving From Christ
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And
Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I praise you today for you have given me life.
You have given me precious abilities, talents, and traits.
You have given me the ability to understand, to create, and to rejoice.
You have given me gifts so vast and so numerous I will never know all I
possess.
You have given me people to love and cherish.
You have given me opportunities and experiences to help me grow in wisdom,
depth, and dimension.
Most of all, you have given me the right to climb your stairway to Heaven
each day.
Each day, as I climb ever higher, I can grow to be more like the person
you want me to be.
Each day, as I climb ever higher, I can enjoy the blessings of being one
of your children.
Each day, as the folly of my youth turns into eternal hope in you, I find
your love and mercy pulling me upward and onward.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely. Amen |
