A Prayer Of Reverence And Adoring Love

Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
How can I not love you when I see you hanging upon the Cross?
How can I not love you when I hear you calling upon my heart and life?
How can I not love you when I come to you to tell you how much I love you?
How can I not love you when I fall silent because you speak before I even have a chance to think.
I go to yield up my life to you, yet before I begin to uplift the cup of my soul to you, my cup runneth over.
How could I not love you?
How could I not love you when you always express your love first.
When I fall down because of my own sin, it is you, who first comes to me and helps me stand up again.
When I have no words to pray, it is you, who fills me with love beyond words to express.
How could I not love you, for it is you, who loved me first.
How could I not love you, for when I seem to have no words, the words seem to appear without my thinking them.
You love me in spite of all my faults, spots, and blemishes.
You love me in spite of my turning away from you.
You love me in the times of my pain when I think you have deserted me.
You love me in the times of my anger with you because I thought you did not help me when I selfishly wanted help.
Thank you Lord.
Thank you Precious Lord Jesus.
Thank you Holy Spirit.
