A Prayer For A Richer Future
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God,
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
I love you, Lord Jesus.
Sometimes I want to rewrite my life.
I see so many things I could have done differently.
As I look back, I know I have made many mistakes.
As I look back, I too often forgot the lessons I should learned and the
wisdom I should have remembered.
I choose to move ahead each day in your love and grace.
Of the memories I keep inside, help me grow in your truth within my
memories.
Of the memories of mistakes I have made, let your healing love pour over
me and wash away my hurt.
Of the memories of injuries inflicted by others, let your healing love
pour over me and wash away the scars.
In your grace, let your love be present in my life each minute.
In your grace, let every minute be lived so I can stand upon your solid
rock of truth as I build for what may come tomorrow.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
