A Prayer To See Jesus (3)

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
I love you, Lord Jesus.
Oh, how I want to see the victory.
Oh, how I want to see you ride in on clouds of joy as you smash evil and darkness into the ground.
Oh, how I want to see the world worship you in truth and love.
But my eyes fail me as I grow older.
I may not live on the earth long enough to see you come again.
In the meantime, if my body must stop working and my soul must separate from it, I give you praise for my life.
I praise you for giving me eternal life in my spirit.
I praise you for giving me a new life as I live on the earth.
For no matter whether I am alive on the earth or alive in heaven, I will see you come again.
I will see the evil foe vanquished.
I will see the blind see, the deaf hear, the lame walk, and the poor made rich in your love and grace.
I will see swords turned into plowshares.
I will see kingdoms of the earth fall only to rise up again in your holy name.
For all this and more, I give you praise.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
