A Prayer To See Past Your Trials
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
My trials never seem to end but I know someday as I begin to sail home to
you I will surely be set free.
I know my job in the here and now is to live right here, right now, all
for you.
In your love, help me see past my present trials and see a new day just
ahead where all things will be good and grand.
Help me see no circumstance in life is permanent.
Help me own my trials instead of letting my trials own me.
Help me see the new day dawning is full of hope and promise.
Help me commit my life to passing on this new day dawning so full of hope
and promise to the generations coming after me.
With my vision cast upon you, let my trials be used for your glory and
grace.
With my vision cast upon you, let my trials be used as a time to
accumulate your power.
With my vision cast upon you, let my trials be used as a time to count my
blessings one by one as I give thanks to you, the supplier of my every
need.
With my vision cast upon you, let me always be willing to do what you want
rather than what I want, even when I am burdened down in my trials.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
