A Prayer About Serving God

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I give you praise for enabling me to be your servant.
I give you praise for enabling me to do your work and will each day.
Although I make mistakes, fall down, and head off in directions not of your will, I still keep making an effort to serve you.
I know you do not need me to serve you to make you feel better, make you feel bigger, or make you more powerful.
For you are God, you are infinite in size, and infinite in power.
As you will it, enable me to serve you because I know you love me and because I love you.
As you will it, enable me to serve you because the world needs to know about you. The world needs to find its soul in you.
May my heart be opened so all I say, think, and do is done in love so the world will know your love, your redeeming power, and your compassion.
May every day be a day I spend serving you.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely. Amen
