A Prayer About Serving The Lord

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
It is you I serve, precious Lord Jesus.
It is you I serve, as I serve others in your holy name.
In faith I know I shall receive your blessings in the hour of meeting.
In faith I know I shall receive your blessings for the good I have done in the hour we see each other face to face.
In faith I shall treat all persons with love and respect.
In faith I shall treat the king and the pauper with the same love you have shown me.
There was a time when I was your enemy, going my own way, and doing my own thing.
There was a time when my behavior was not of your will, when my behavior was evil in your eyes.
Please, Lord Jesus, forgive me now for my transgressions.
Forgive me now for my sins.
Now I live in the glory of your grace.
You have reconciled me through your physical body and through your death I can be presented as holy in your sight.
You have reconciled me so I can be presented to you without spot or blemish, free from accusation.
I shall continue in my faith.
I shall remain established and firm.
I shall grasp the hope held out for me in the gospel and I shall not be moved.
I shall grasp the hope held out for me in the gospel and I shall not let go of the gospel proclaimed to every creature under heaven, the gospel under which I have become your humble servant.
Every day I live in victory for I have put on a new self.
Every day I am renewed in knowledge in the image of you, my precious Lord.
You are all and you are in all.
Being counted as a humble servant among your chosen people, I shall clothe myself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience as we walk in victory every hour.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
