A Prayer To Stand Firm Against The Pushing And Pulling Of Life

Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
I am pushed and pulled in my life every day.
There are forces and powers pushing and pulling me away from you.
Sometimes I think I cannot control what is happening to me.
Keep me from becoming bitter.
Keep my heart in a state where I learn and grow in every circumstance.
Help me turn my trials and adversities into times where I can come closer to you and times where I can learn to live a more godly life.
Help me strive every moment to live a life in victory rather than defeat.
When life pushes me and pulls me, help me push and pull back in your love and grace.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit who lives within me and touches me,
Amen
