A Prayer About Staying Faithful To Your Destination

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I know where I am right now but I don't know where I am going.
I know where I will eventually end up after I die but I don't know what is before me tomorrow, or next week, or next month.
I know the direction in which I am headed but I can't see very far down the road.
I know what you have told me to do but sometimes I wonder how in the world I will ever be able to do it.
So for every obstacle the adversary puts in my way, may you give me the power to zap the obstacle into only a vapor.
For every thought of defeat entering my mind, may your love inspire me to see visions of victory as I strive to reach my goal.
For every moment of doubt coming into my mind, may your compassion and mighty presence fill my mind with certainty.
For every minute I spend looking for a way out of my present prison, may your truth and wisdom continue to show me the way home.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
