Prayer About Stopping Evil And Starting
Good
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
As I look at the world I can see evil has its own personal designs for me,
for my family and friends, and for my loved ones.
In your love and grace, help me respond to evil in a godly way.
Evil seeks my destruction and eventually my death.
Evil seeks the destruction and death of my family, friends, and loved
ones.
In your love and grace, help me respond to evil in a godly way.
In your wisdom and in your love, help me know when force is required to
stop evil.
Once I have stopped evil by force, at that very instant inspire me to
start doing good and godly deeds in your holy name.
If evil tries to come back after I have stopped evil, then help me to stop
evil again and then start doing good and godly deeds in your holy name
again.
Whenever possible, help me defeat evil as I replace good for evil in the
face of evil.
Whenever possible, help me defeat evil as I replace hate with love.
Whenever possible, help me defeat evil as I celebrate life in the face of
death
Whenever possible, help me defeat evil as I find hope in circumstances
that seem hopeless.
Whenever possible, help me defeat evil as I seek and find wisdom in the
face of ignorance.
In all the things I must do to stop evil, please forgive me for ever doing
anything that is ungodly.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
