A Prayer For Strength To Never Give In

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
I love you, Precious Lord Jesus.
I confess my weakness to you now.
I confess I want to give up my faith now.
I am low in spirit.
I cannot see any light in this dark day.
I am being twisted and turned by the evil forces around me.
The power of evil is behind me tempting me.
The darkness tells me to give up and forget about following you.
The darkness tries to crush my spirit to make me give in.
The darkness assaults my body to make me give in.
However, with you near me, I shall not give in.
I will wage this war knowing you are beside me.
Your strength empowers me.
I shall hold fast to your love and truth.
As I proclaim your love for me, I feel your strength renewing me, encouraging me, and sustaining me.
As I proclaim your love for me, I can see your heavenly beams of love radiating out to welcome me home someday.
As I proclaim your love for me, I can see the victory.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely. Amen
