A Prayer For Strength To Wrestle In Prayer
O Precious Savior, Wonderful Lord, In-filling Holy Spirit…
Thank you Mighty God, for the power of your Name.
Instill in me the spirit of a warrior as I pray each day.
In no way and at no time let me shrink from sending up prayers and
petitions to you.
Let no adversity make me shrink back from coming to you in humble prayer.
Embolden me to fight every foe with a humble heart brought to you.
In the face of physical pain, send your touch to me so I may remain
focused on your call to wrestle mightily with my prayer burdens.
In the face of threats and punishments of all kinds, let my first response
be to attack the darkness with an outstretched hand to you, O Mighty God.
In the face of prayer answers not seen or heard, instill in me an
unfailing spirit to persevere in calling upon you to touch the heart and
life of others.
In prayer times when it seems I am only speaking to myself, touch me with
your healing love and overflowing hope as I come to you in prayer.
Let me not shrink from your hour of prayer.
Let me not doubt the power of your hand in all I seek for others in your
love, compassion, and mercy.
In the name of the Precious Savior, Wonderful Lord God, and the In-filling
Holy Spirit upon whom we can rely.
