A Prayer For Times Of Weakness
Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
We love you.
We honor you and reach out to you as our personal God.
We honor you and know you look over our lives from your home in Heaven.
We honor you not because you have power over us but because of your
sheltering arms that hold us up.
We are weak and small and our attempts at prayer are often weak and small.
We are grateful you understand us and love us in spite of our weaknesses,
deficiencies, and sin.
We are simple and humble in your sight but seek your strength when we are
weak.
Help us humbly show the world that you are real and that even when we are
weak you are our strength.
We are weak and we face obstacles and roadblocks of many kinds, yet you
are there for us, holding us, keeping us from falling.
We are tempted to go our own way and not your way, yet you are there
encouraging us to be righteous.
We seek your tender touch and your grace to be alive in us.
When we are weak, lead us to your Cross.
Guide our steps in the darkness so that we find your Light.
To you we give all praise, honor, and glory.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit
who lives in us and touches us,
