Prayer To Be Righteous In Trouble And
Darkness
Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
I love you.
I honor you and I reach out to you as my personal God.
I honor you and I know you look over my life from your home in Heaven.
I honor you not because you have power over me, but because your
sheltering arms hold me up.
An hour of trouble and darkness has come upon me.
I am under attack and I do not know what to do.
In your grace and in your love, give me guidance so I will know what to
do.
In your grace and in your love, help me to do the right thing, even when I
am tempted to do what I know is wrong.
I am weak and small.
My attempts at prayer are also often weak and small.
I am grateful you understand me and love me in spite of my weaknesses,
deficiencies, and sin.
I am simple and humble in your sight.
I seek your strength to only do your will in this hour of my distress.
In this hour of my darkness, help me humbly show the world you are real.
In this hour of my darkness, help me to know your will and know your
strength even when I am weak.
I affirm you are my living God and you are there for me, holding me,
keeping me from falling.
I affirm you are my living God and when I am tempted to go my own way in
this present darkness, you are there encouraging me to be righteous.
To you I give all praise, honor, and glory.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit
who lives within me and touches me,
