A Prayer To Kneel At The Cross
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And
Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
The dark powers swirl around me.
The evil one is bent upon my destruction.
There are times when I can almost see the fiery hatred of the evil one as
he tries to take me down.
There are subtle currents of darkness that come at me.
I want to always do the right thing all the time but the evil one comes to
confuse me and to divert my attention from you.
In your name and by your power, I reject every darkness.
In your name and by your power, I come against every flaming arrow of
temptation.
In your name and by your power, I resist the evil one.
In your name and by your power, I surrender all I am and all I have to
you.
In your name and by your power, I shall kneel at the foot of your cross
and never leave.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely. Amen |
