A Prayer For The Touch Of God Upon Your Heart
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God,
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Sometimes I want to run away.
Sometimes I do run away in my heart.
Many events in my life cannot be undone.
I will live with the heartbreak of some events until I die.
Yet, no matter how painful things have been, are now, or will be, I see
you now, O Lord.
Precious Jesus, I see you in my present darkness.
Precious Jesus, touch me now, for I am willing to receive your touch and I
want your touch upon my heart.
In your great love, I know you can touch my heart and soothe the pain of
the many painful moments I have.
In your great love, I seek oneness with you.
Help me open the door of my heart just a little so I may let your love and
light shine in.
In your great love, I can see through this present darkness.
I see your Promised Land just ahead of me.
My sadness is gone and has become your joyful hope for me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely. Amen |
