A Prayer For The Touch Of God Upon Your Soul

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I do not know much about my soul.
I know I have a soul but I do not see it, hear it, or sense it.
I know my soul is who I am.
I know someday my soul will sail over to be with you in Heaven.
While I wait and while I walk your path each day, I seek your touch upon my soul.
As I try to think, live, and breathe according to your will, please be near me and touch me for your good purposes.
I am alive today because you willed I was to be born.
You willed I remain alive to do your will and do your work each day.
I walk your path of life each day knowing you want me to be better, to grow, and to mature.
I walk your path of life each day knowing you rejoice in my success in doing your will.
I walk your path of life each day knowing you expect more from me each day than I gave the day before.
It is you, Christ Jesus, who enables me to see into the infinite.
It is you, Christ Jesus, who enables me to see your infinite love for me.
It is you, Christ Jesus, who gives me hope when all hope is gone.
It is you, Christ Jesus, who gives me direction when I am lost and cannot find my way.
It is you, Christ Jesus, who gives me victory when defeat appears to be virtually certain.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely. Amen
