Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I have put my trust in people but I have often been hurt and disappointed.
I have put my trust in worldly ideas but I have often found these worldly ideas are of little value when trials overwhelm me.
However, I came to a point in my life when I started trusting you and I have never been disappointed.
I put my trust and hope in you because I know your unfailing love falls afresh on me every hour.
I put my trust and hope in you because I know you hold me in the palm of your nail-scarred hand.
May I always be hoping and trusting in you as I praise you every hour for the love, peace, and power you bring into my life.
No part of my worldly life can ever match your love falling down upon me…your love filling my heart every hour.
In all things I know you will do for me what is right because you are righteousness.
In all things I know you will do for me what is just because you are just.
Let me know of your sweet ways.
Let me hear your sweet voice in my hour of prayer.
I love you and I desire to see many good days upon the earth.
I more earnestly desire to see an eternity of days in my new home with you in heaven.
