A Prayer About Trusting God To Love Us
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly
Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
There are times when the pain of life has gotten to me, and I wonder about
you.
I wonder why you don't come down to earth and take over and fix
everything.
I wonder why you let people suffer when you could take over and stop the
suffering.
I wonder why you let war take place when you could take over and stop war.
When the pain of life gets intense, I know I am supposed to trust you, but
trusting you in the pain is really hard to do.
When I get to one of those points of not always trusting you in the pain,
help me to remember how much you love me.
When I think you don't care any more because you have not taken over and
fixed everything, help me remember how much you love me.
When I think you don't care any more because war, conflicts, and evil
ravages the world, help me remember how much you love me and help me
remember how much you love others.
When I find it difficult to walk your path of humility, touch my heart and
make me whole again.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely. Amen |
