Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit…
I do not have enough power to do what I want and need to do.
I do not even have enough power to do what I want and need to do for you.
I do not have enough motivation to accomplish my goals.
I do not have enough spirit in me to be what I know you want me to be.
I need your power to give me the can-do spirit I need to have.
I have come to the end of my road.
I do not know where else to turn.
All my solutions have failed.
All my attempts have failed.
All the people I depended upon have disappointed me.
I have nowhere else to turn.
Please forgive me Lord.
How selfish of me.
How utterly and totally selfish of me to not turn to you first rather than turning to you last.
What was I thinking?
You are my all in all.
You are my life.
How could I have not thought of you first?
I kneel before you in sorrow over my selfishness.
I kneel before you in contrition over my sin.
Please forgive me and always make me think of you first when I have failed, always make me think of you first when others disappoint.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
