A Prayer To Understand Each Other
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God,
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
We love you, Lord Jesus.
O Lord, may we all see you in each other.
May we all see we are more alike than we are different.
May we all see how darkness and evil separates us.
May we all see how each of us carries your divine spark within us.
May we all see we are fallible, mistake-ridden, and covered over with the
darkness of sin.
May we all see enough of you in each other we forgive each other and love
each other without conditions.
May we all understand we are afraid, insecure, and alone.
May we all understand the power of our mind to do great works for God or
terrible works for evil depends upon the decisions we make.
May we all understand we need each other in ways we do not understand or
appreciate.
May we all see why and how you love us so we can see what you see in us.
All these things we humbly pray in the name of our most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, our Mighty God, and our Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom we can
rely.
