A Prayer To Understand Evil To Gain Power
Over Evil
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God,
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
We love you, Lord Jesus.
O Precious Lord, in your holy and precious name, I seek a small
understanding of the evil one and his evil ways so I may keep my heart
pure from Satan's darkness.
O Precious Lord, let me be filled with wisdom about the devil's schemes.
O Precious Lord, let me be filled with wisdom about how Satan uses
temptation to destroy my soul.
O Precious Lord, let me be filled with wisdom about how Satan brings
darkness into my life so I will then be strong in your love and grace.
O Precious Lord, let me be filled with wisdom so I can see the whole truth
about my mortal enemy.
O Precious Lord, let me come against evil and let me open my heart and
soul to your love so divine.
O Precious Lord, let me not be blind to evil but be wise in building a
defense against every scheme and against every trick Satan tries to use to
attack me.
O Precious Lord, let me fully understand Satan is the author of my death.
Let me fully understand you, my Savior, are the way, the truth, and source
of my eternal life.
O Precious Lord, let me fully know how much you love me.
O Precious Lord, let me fully see how your love and power in me and
through me will win the sure victory over the evil coming against me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
Amen
