A Prayer For A Vision Of God's Creation
Precious Lord Jesus, Wonderful Holy Spirit, Awesome God,
let me soak up the beauty of your world.
When I am outdoors, let me look up and see the beauty of your blue sky and
your mighty billowing clouds.
When I am on the beach, let me be immersed in the power of your sea.
When I am in the meadow, let me feel the power of your hand in your grass
and flowers.
When I am in the field, direct my heart to your mystery making the crops
grow.
When I am in the mountains, direct my vision to your grandeur.
When I am in the city, show me your energy, compassion, caring, and love
for all people of the earth.
When I am in the desert, show me the marvels of how you help the plants
and animals grow even in times of harshness.
Do not let my eyes fall upon what man has made until you have placed the
joy of your creation in my heart.
Keep me ever mindful how all of your creation rests in the palm of your
hand.
Keep me humble in spirit before you and humble in spirit before your
creation.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of the most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, the Mighty God, and the Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom we can
rely. Amen
