A Prayer For Vision In Poverty

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, am trying to love you but I am beset with many troubles.
On this day and in this hour, I am blinded by the material poverty of my life.
I cannot see my way out of this circumstance.
I cannot see my way out of this condition of poverty I am in.
Nothing in life tears me apart like this.
However, I know there is always you, O Lord, in whom I trust.
I affirm I trust you in every circumstance.
I affirm I believe in you in every circumstance.
I affirm no matter how blind I am right now, you are within me.
I affirm you will bring me the light of your truth.
I affirm my blindness in poverty is only temporary.
In the next few minutes, as I feel your peace and love, I will be able to see things clearly once again.
I affirm my blindness caused by my lack of material things shall never cause me to loosen my grip upon you and upon your love for me.
I affirm in your love I shall have a vision of a greater life in the next hour, in the next day, and in the years to come.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
