Sometimes I think the coldness of the world is going to freeze me to death.
Sometimes I think I am going to be chewed up by the cruelty of the world.
I have had too many moments of grief.
I have had too many moments of loss.
I have had too many moments of anxiety.
I have had too many moments of frustration and anger.
But you, my Precious Jesus, are not any of these things.
Thank you, Precious Jesus, for being my warmth in the coldness of the world.
Thank you, Precious Jesus, for being my source of energy when I have no energy of my own.
Thank you, Precious Jesus, for being my comforter when the world dumps its load of grief on me and I don't know what to do.
Thank you, Precious Jesus, Lord God, comforting Holy Spirit.
Thank you, Precious Jesus, for putting up with me.
Thank you, Precious Jesus, for giving me the hope to get through each day.
Thank you, Precious Jesus, for giving me peace while I weather every storm.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
