A Prayer About What A Believer Should Do

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I often need your encouragement.
I often need your comfort.
I often need your power to live a life worthy of your mission and calling upon my life.
For I am persuaded you called me to live your new life instead of the old life I was living.
I live in continual praise and thanksgiving because your word came to me and I believed.
I live in continual praise and thanksgiving because you gave your word to me and you enabled me to believe.
I suffer greatly from the persecution of the evil one.
I am attacked every hour by the powers of darkness.
Yet I know you did not call me to you so I would be disappointed.
I know you called me to you so I would accept you as Savior and Lord.
In responding to your call upon my heart, I will hold fast to my belief in spite of every hardship and in spite of every obstacle.
No matter what may happen to me and to my family in the future, give me the power and the heart to provide for my relatives and for my immediate family, regardless of my circumstances.
When someone in my family becomes a widow, a widower, disabled, infirm, or incapacitated, help me and help everyone in my family come together to support them and care for them.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
