A Prayer For A Time When God Says "No" In Compassion

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
So many times you have turned down my requests.
However, in my heart, I know you love me.
In my heart, I can feel your love and compassion when I have also sensed you were telling me "No".
It is only when I open my heart and accept your compassion that I am able to accept your will for me.
It is only when I open my heart and accept your compassion that I am able to accept that what you want for me is not always what I should want for me.
Your compassion gives me patience in my hour of need.
Your compassion gives me power to accept your will, even when my will is not your will.
Your compassion gives me the understanding to accept you as the true shepherd of my life.
In your compassion and love, help me to set aside what I want.
In your compassion and love, help me to accept your will for me when I am not able to get what I think I want and need.
Help me to understand you do not delight in telling me "No".
Help me to understand when you tell me "No", there are more tomorrows filled with your glory and your grace than I could ever count or know.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
