A Prayer For A Time When God Says "No" With Understanding

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
There are many things I do not understand about my life.
There are many things I do not understand about you and how you work.
When I seek your answers and I ask for your hand to do work in the world, sometimes you tell me "No".
Inspire in me an understanding heart so I can understand more about you when you tell me "No".
Inspire in me a mind to sort through the many intricacies of your will for me and your will for others when you tell me "No".
I know your wisdom surpasses that of any person.
I know when your hand comes against what I want and need it shows your wisdom is at work.
You can see into the future.
I know you want only what is best for me and what is best for your glory.
Since I am blind to future events in my life and I am blind to future events in the world.
I will put my whole faith and trust into your wisdom.
When I begin to doubt your love for me because your hand has come against what I want and need, I shall remember you want to build me up, not tear me down.
In your good will and wisdom, never let me go where you do not want me to go.
Let me always seek to glorify you no matter what the circumstance might me.
Let me always seek to glorify you no matter whether you tell me "Yes" or tell me "No".
In your good will and wisdom, embolden me to suffer and hurt for you if this suffering and hurting will glorify you.
In your good will and wisdom, help me gain more wisdom so I will be stronger for you and stronger in doing your work.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely. Amen
