A Prayer About When You Cannot Live Alone

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Precious Lord Jesus, I need other people in my life.
There are times when I feel I cannot possibly live alone any more.
There are times when I feel weak in my loneliness.
I know deep within me I have more strength than I realize.
I also know you are with me no matter what my circumstance might be.
I praise you for I know you are in every moment of my hurt.
I praise you for I know you are in every moment of my trauma.
I praise you for I know you are in every moment of my tragedy.
Of course, there are times in my exasperation when I want to know why you don't stop all this darkness in my life.
When I ask why you do not stop the darkness, remind me the darkness is not your will or your work.
Remind me the darkness in my life is the work of Satan.
Remind me every second of my life that with your love, all of the bad times, all of the trauma, all of the tragedy, all of the hurt, all of the tears, and all of the grief will be washed away and made to be as if they never were.
Remind me when I need others in the dark times I need you even more.
Remind me when others hurt and disappoint me that in you there is no hurt and never any disappointment.
Remind me when I think I cannot live alone I have never been alone because you have always been with me.
Of course, I do not like being alone.
I often ache for the companionship and friendship of others, but in you and in your love I can find peace and comfort beyond any peace and comfort another person can bring me. When I find your peace and comfort help me bring your peace and comfort to others.
In your miraculous ways, in your ways I cannot often explain, bring me to a place where I am not alone any more.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
Amen
