Prayer About Whose Life You Live Most
Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
When I think about my life, inspire me to think about living my life for
you rather than living my life for myself.
When I get concerned about myself, inspire me to be more concerned about
how I serve you and fully love you rather than being concerned about
myself.
When I experience failure, inspire me to keep my eyes focused not upon
what I or others think is success, but keep my eyes focused only upon what
you think is success.
When I am in pain and I am hurting, inspire me to think more about others
than about myself.
When I want a better life for myself, inspire me to want a better life for
the others around me.
When I am confined and imprisoned in my trials and trouble, inspire me to
seek your freedom in my heart and soul.
When I want a better and happier life, inspire me to see I already have
the life I want and need within my heart.
When I want to run away from the truth, help me face and tell the truth to
myself.
When I grasp the doom caused by my selfishness, inspire me to see how my
soul can be set free forever as I surrender all my life up to you.
When I fully understand my sin is the root of my selfishness, help me
become selfless as I kneel before you upon the cross.
Help me cast off the chains of my selfishness as I give my heart to you.
Help me wipe the scales of blindness away from my eyes so I may see your
love for me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
