A Prayer For Wisdom About What Is Important
Precious Lord Jesus, Wonderful Holy Spirit, Awesome God,
I love you, Lord Jesus.
Precious Lord,
Wonderful Savior,
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
I spend my days running to and fro.
I busy myself with actions and activities that seem to be nothing more
than vanity.
In the minutes of my life, O Lord, let me do all the things I do just for
you and in your holy name.
If I need to do seemingly meaningless and menial things, let me do thing
for you as I think of you while I do them.
Let the mundane and unimportant tasks of my life become an incredibly
important work for you and your kingdom.
Let all of my actions in all the days of my life be a witness to your love
and glory.
Show me how humility before you can impact others so I do not lose sight
of your call upon my life.
Show me how the right choices I make can glorify you.
Let my motivations be pure and holy in your name.
Let me see how all I do should be for you and not for myself.
According to your will, let me enjoy your blessings of wisdom, happiness,
and peace of mind.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
Amen |
