Prayer About Wishing Good Things Would
Happen To You
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God,
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
When times of darkness roll into my life, I catch myself wishing good
things would happen to me.
When I start wishing good things would happen to me, help me turn active
so I take action on my troubles rather than just wishing things will get
better.
Rather than just wishing good things would happen to me, help me find ways
to change my world or circumstances.
I know you have this law of returns.
I know what I give away comes back to me, sometimes many times over.
Remind me how if I give nothing away, I get nothing in return.
Remind me how if I give bad things away, I get bad things in return.
Remind me how if I give good things away, I get good things in return.
When I start wishing for good things to happen, inspire me to use your
"law of return" to make things better.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
