A Wrongful Prayer In Arrogance

Jesus? Holy Spirit? God?
We do not think we'll be needing you much longer…and we do not care.
We think we are strong enough on our own…and we do not care.
We think we can handle all things, do all things, make all things, become all things, even change all things you have made…and we do not care.
We are proud, arrogant, haughty, and stubborn…and we do not care.
We want revenge, we sit and stew in our hatred…and we do not care.
We will kill each other with bullets and bombs…and we do not care..
We will make new ways to kill each other to get our pound of flesh…and we do not care.
We've decided we don't need you anymore…and we do not care.
Since you do not give us a show of how mighty you are, we don't believe in you like we did…and we do not care.
Since you are invisible and may be only a superstitious idea, we will no longer worship you…and we do not care.
We will not think about you…and we do not care.
We will not honor you…and we do not care.
We will not live according to the words in the book some think you wrote…and we do not care.
We will do whatever we want, whenever we want, wherever we want, and how we want, all with impunity…and we do not care.
No, it seems you are no longer needed or relevant…and we do not care.
We would say good-bye but since you don't exist what's the use?
Then again, if you do exist, if you do exist like some people say you exist…
If you really did send your Son into the world…
You won't hold anything against us will you?
You won't be mad will you?
You will give us a pass in advance won't you?
We don't hear anything…
What's the problem? Out of answers? Cat got your tongue?
If you are so real, then why don't you say something or do something?
